November 14, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

There is much current attention to increasing social and economic inequality.  Unfortunately, the root cause of inequality is kept a deep secret: the theft of value created by workers. Karl Marx, considered by current information scientists as the most influential scholar in history, identified the source of wealth as stolen surplus value. Join us as we go over Marx’s critique of capitalism. The root source of inequality, wars, racism, corporate undemocratic rule and other social ills will no longer be a mystery. It is not enough to be upset by war mongering, social and economic inequality, worker exploitation, unmet democratic demands. We must understand the root cause: capitalism. To achieve social and economic equality and end exploitation, we need to flush out capitalism and bring forth the future: socialism!  Facilitator: Alvaro Rodriguez
