WHY JOIN?
Members of the Communist Party USA are dedicated to helping advance the day-to-day struggles of the working class and all people on the road to a socialist USA.
We believe that our radical ideas must be paired with real politics. Winning working people's struggles today is the only way to achieve socialism in the future. The heart of our organization is our strategic policy. Our strategy is outlined in our program, The Road to Socialism USA.
Our organization is made up of grassroots community, labor and student activists, national movement leaders, young and old, immigrant and native-born. We are electricians, writers, steelworkers, teachers, retail workers, students, small business people and more. We are working, unemployed and active retirees. We are women and men. Our members are African American, white, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, Arab, American Indian and from every nationality. They speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and dozens more languages. We are gay and straight. We come from every region and state of this country, from big cities to small towns, from coast to coast. If you live in the United States and are at least 18 years old, you can be member too.

DUES
All members of the Communist Party pay dues. Dues make up an important part of the financial support that keeps our work going. The Communist Party dues system is simple. Most members pay $60/year ($5/month). Low-income members pay $24/year ($2/month). Those who are able to participate in clubs and districts pay their dues there. Others can send their dues online using the dues payment page. For convenience, most members pay a full year's dues at once if possible.
Please note dues and donations are NOT tax deductible.
