May Day Greetings

On Mayday 2015, the COMMUNIST PARTY USA greets our comrades and friends worldwide in the promise of …….

  • A WORLD WITHOUT WAR, in which the billions spent on armaments are instead spent on human needs, and in which human blood and treasure cease to be expended in violent conflicts which produce mountains of dead and armies of refugees.
  • A WORLD WITHOUT EMPIRES, in which all nations sit down together in amity to solve the common problems of humanity without resorting to military interventions, threats, economic pressure and unilateral sanctions.
  • A WORKD WITHOUT EXPLOITATION, in which our labor will serve our own needs and that of humanity, instead of those of a handful of corporations and super rich individuals.
  • A WORD WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION AND OPPRESSION BY RACE, ETHNICITY, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER AND GENDER PREFERENCE, in which we call all work as brothers and sisters for a better future for humanity.
  • A WORLD IN WHICH THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IS PROTECTED FOR THE FUTURE AND NOT DEVASTATED IN THE NAME OF CORPORATE PROFIT.
  • A WORLD OF COOPERATION, JUSTICE AND SOCIALISM!

Author

The Communist Party USA is a working class organization founded in 1919 in Chicago, IL.

The Communist Party stands for the interests of the American working class and the American people. It stands for our interests in both the present and the future. Solidarity with workers of other countries is also part of our work. We work in coalition with the labor movement, the peace movement, the student movement, organizations fighting for equality and social justice, the environmental movement, immigrants rights groups and the health care for all campaign.

But to win a better life for working families, we believe that we must go further. We believe that the American people can replace capitalism with a system that puts people before profit — socialism.

We are rooted in our country's revolutionary history and its struggles for democracy. We call for "Bill of Rights" socialism, guaranteeing full individual freedoms.

These spelling errors need to be corrected.
“A WORKD WITHOUT EXPLOITATION”
“…in which we call all work as brothers…”

Continued endeavour will some day bring about a real global society. We have to believe it, and move on.
