The following report was given to the party’s National Committee on July 13, 2025 on behalf of the Education Commission. More NC reports here.
The National Education Commission would like to thank Joe for the report and everyone for the discussion so far. The National Education Commission is in the process of developing schools for late fall and winter. We already have a commitment for a small series on imperialism which will be offered in October, and we are in the process of finalizing a Fundamentals of Scientific Socialism series.
In addition, we are looking for your recommendation of good books on party history which would be useful for us to explore today toward strengthening our grasp of what we are trying to do on the ground and gaining from the experiences of the past. Please be encouraged to send us your recommendations to dee@cpusa.org. We really want you to help us identify good books for future book talks.
Most immediately, we are calling on all districts, and clubs where there is not a district organization, to schedule club and district schools to discuss the report presented today. The report presented today can be discussed in the context of advancing the implementation of the party program. The goal is to examine how this report can be applied to the activities of your club or district as you move forward. We will work with you to finalize the design and scheduling of a club and district school to meet the needs of your club and district. These schools have the goal of discussing how to upgrade our ability to engage more effectively in our work on the ground. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will welcome hearing from us.
