Dear comrades,

On the occasion of the 29th National Convention of the Communist Party of the United States of America, we would like to convey to the Convention delegates, and through you, to all American communists and working people, our warmest greetings.

Over the past years, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, your Party has together with the left forces in the United States persisted in promoting the struggle for peace, people’s well-being, democracy and social progress, and contributing to enhancing the relations of solidarity and cooperation among communists and workers’ parties, peace-loving and democratic forces in the Americas and the world over.

The Communist Party of Viet Nam has always attached great importance to its time-tested relations of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation with the Communist Party of the United States of America. We are always grateful to the American communists and progressive people for their valuable support fort the Vietnamese people in the past struggle for national independence, as well as in the present cause of national construction and defense.

May the 29th National Convention of the Communist Party of the United States of America be a great success.

May the traditional friendship between our two Parties and the two peoples of Viet Nam and the United States be constantly consolidated and developed.
