In 1972, the U.S. Navy charged Lt. Susan Schnall with conduct unbecoming an officer, for wearing her uniform to an anti-war march. She told her court-martial that she found it unbecoming to send men to die in Vietnam. Her response reminds us that, while the violence of U.S. imperialism takes its most brutal toll on the nations of the global South, it also has a direct impact on service members, veterans, and their families here in the United States. Now the president of Veterans For Peace, Susan joins us for a discussion with veterans about how to stop the imperialist war machine.
