I mentioned in an earlier email my thoughts on barriers to unity against the right that one way we could accomplish this could be through unions. I stand by that this would be the best way to win over workers as well, Unions are struggling in Springfield but despite constant attack they still have a membership and are still active. Many local stores adopt the epithet “worker-owned,” (though they aren’t,) to win over workers. I strongly believe the path to the left’s ascendance is through proletarian means, worker’s unions.
