Your application to join the Communist Party USA has been sent, and you should expect to be contacted by a local Party member shortly to help make you feel right at home and to help you join in solidarity with others in the working class who are struggling to change things in fundamental ways.

Meanwhile, if you have any pressing questions, e-mail cpusa@cpusa.org to reach us.

We believe our country is on the verge of a historic turn, and our focus is on being part of the struggle for a landslide victory against the right on Election Day. You don't have to wait to hear from someone to participate in what's going on locally, to join in voter registration drives, anti-McCain canvassing, etc.

One of the first things to do is subscribe to the People's Weekly World/Nuestro Mundo newspaper, which you can do by emailing subs(at)pww(dot)org -- we will bill you, or you can send a check to PWW, 235 W. 23rd Street, 8th floor, NY, NY 10011. A one year sub is $30.

Reading the PWW/NM is the best way to get the fullest sense of what we stand for, and with whom and how we work in the political movements and struggles of today. A regular subscription is an important source of our political priorities, and it's a great tool for reaching others -- after you've finished your copy, pass it on. You can also get two copies for $45 -- a "solidarity pack."

You can also read the Peoples Weekly World and Political Affairs
