Question of the week: How can we win over workers who gravitate to reactionary movements in response to declining economic security?

Barriers against building unity against the extreme right? Probably apathy. I live in a Blue State, but a Red district. Most Republicans in my area don’t see themselves as Alt-right and underestimate the threat. Hard teaching working-class whites who their allies are. They don’t see big picture or long-term trends. Only daily grind and high taxes.
