Action Alert--Elections Brief

October 30, 2002

Published by the National Organizing Department, Communist Party

USA GET OUT THE VOTE!

Every Party member should make a special effort in this final period leading up to election day to help get out the vote!

Also, and just as important, we should be looking to mobilize not only Party members, but anyone else we may know who can come out for the last minute, down to the wire efforts. If we can get people out, we can beat the ultra-right.

YOU NEED A(N ELECTION) DAY OFF!

We strongly urge comrades to take Election Day off from work, to participate in last minute campaign and get out the vote activities.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES/GATHERINGS

Any organization that has been working on the elections to defeat the ultra-right will surely throw a party or some sort of social gathering after the elections have taken place. All comrades should participate in the activities of any organization they have been working with. If for some reason there is no gathering scheduled in a certain area, comrades should, if possible, take the lead.
