Change the Direction of Our Country

Control of the Senate and House: On Tuesday, November 5 the entire House, a 3rd of the Senate, 36 Governors and many state Legislators will be determined. Make your voice heard and Find out what labor and its allies are doing:

Defeating Rightwing Extremism. The rightwing is pouring huge sums of money into the 2002 elections. They are expected to pour 15 time as much money into the 2002 election as the labor movement. An all-out attempt is being made to defeat progressive and pro-worker, pro-people candidates.

Union Rights.A Republican victory in November will be a giant setback in the struggle to win better wages, working conditions, healthcare, civil liberties, etc.

Civil Liberties and Constitutional Rights. A Republican victory in November will be a giant setback in the struggle to maintane and extend democratic rights to the Black, brown and white working class.

Corporate crime & Peace or War. The Bush administration has been complacent at best and supportive at worst, of Enron, WolrdCom and corporate crime in general. The Presidents threats of war on Iraq and Afghanistan will not only take thousands of lives. It will also do nothing to avert the mounting economic crisis that working families are faced with.

Say NO! to Bush with your vote November 5.

The Direction of Our Country! Our Vision for the Future!
