WFTU CONVEYS ITS CONDOLENCES TO AFL-CIO AND AMERICAN PEOPLE

The World Federation of Trade Unions expresses its shock and horror at the immense loss of lives and huge material damage caused by the inhuman, premeditated attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York and government buildings in Washington on 11 September.

The WFTU condemns these dastardly acts which can find no justification whatsoever and which have caused these terrible human consequences.

The WFTU conveys its sincere condolences to the bereaved families, to the AFL-CIO and all working families of the United States who have lost their near and dear ones and to all the American people who have become the victims of this terrible disaster.
